Pokémon plush toys have been revealed as part of a collaboration with Squishmallow.

The Pokémon Company is collaborating with Squishmallows, makers of huggable plush toys, to create a range of soft pillows based on a variety of Pokémon.

Squishmallows previewed the cooperation on Twitter yesterday (July 20), with the complete revelation scheduled for some point during

The San Diego Comic-Con, which runs from July 21 to July 24.
As of publishing, Pokémon global brand manager Aaron Margolin had provided

Some photographs of the partnership and hinted that there might be numerous waves, beginning with iconic generation one Pokémon Pikachu and Gengar.

It’s not just Pikachu! Here’s Wave 1 of our Pokémon Squishmallows!

"The entire team is THRILLED with how delighted everyone is about these plushes," Margolin remarked.

"The entire crew worked so hard on this cooperation, but a special thanks goes to plush designer Joanne Shin, who designed both Pikachu and Gengar!"

According to squishalert.app on Instagram, two additional Squishmallows, Togepi and Snorlax, will be released later this year.

Snorlax and Togepi will be available in 14-inch sizes, with Snorlax and Togepi also available in 20-inch sizes.

However, the only confirmed Pokémon so far are Pikachu and Gengar, who should be arriving to the online Pokémon Centre soon.
