This Michigan compound has a 5,000-square-foot bunker

If HBO’s “last of usAre you worried that a pandemic-related zombie apocalypse sounds a little too real, here’s a list that seems fit to counter that level of dystopia.

The Post has learned that a sprawling 323-acre compound in Michigan is now available for sale for $6 million.

Filled with a 13,500-square-foot mansion, two private lakes, a greenhouse and — most notably — a 5,000-square-foot bunker, the home was initially listed for $7 million.

The property also has three other homes including a caretaker’s farm, a cedar shingle residence surrounding a lake – and a stone cottage.

Compass’s Samantha Rees and Katherine Menicchino are on the list along with Five Star Real Estate’s Mary Noman.

More than $10 million went into the development, according to the listing agents, who say that will mean the new asking price comes at a relative bargain.

Agents highlight that for land developers, there are plans to open a $1 billion Ford plant in 2026 in Marshall, Michigan – five minutes from campus.

Described as a “phenomenal asset” for a “self-sustaining lifestyle”, the compound offers privacy buried deep in the woods and off-grid. Nothing is more than the most extravagant home amenity possible.

The listing states, “Prepare yourself for the piece de resistance, the most unique experience entering a 5000 square foot bunker, proud of all that living off-grid could ever need or desire.”

The bunker has a raised plant bed with grow lights for food growth, a soundproof gun range, two kitchens, up to four bedrooms, three bathrooms, and two hidden entrances and exits.

Built 30 feet deep, it adjoins the main house.
