Tenet Healthcare Corp has appointed Sun Park as its next chief financial officer, effective January 1.
The Dallas-based for-profit system said in a news release Friday that Park will serve as executive vice president from July 11 to December 31 before transitioning to the role of CFO. Since 2018, Park served as executive vice president and group CFO for pharmaceutical distribution and strategic global sourcing at AmerisourceBergen. He joined AmerisourceBergen in 2012 to lead the pharmaceutical giant’s strategy and development.
Park replaced Daniel Cancellami, who announced his retirement in January At the end of this year. Cancelmi, who became CFO in 2012, joined Tenet nearly 30 years ago.
