A lavish London compound once owned by the “Alien” director has hit the market.
In Hampstead’s tony Nabe, a mansion older than the United States – and once the residence of Sir Ridley Scott – is looking for a new owner.
The property, known as Old Grove House, is listed With James Dipper of Seville for £28 million or $35.9 million.
FG Consultants Also marketing the property, which was constructed in the early 18th century and is in state of preservation.

During his time calling the posh slice of British real estate his home, Ridley starred in several of his most famous films, including “Thelma & Louise,” “Gladiator” and “Hannibal.”
He eventually sold it off-market to a local man who fell in love with the property after passing the house several times and eventually attending a party inside.
The current listing is the first time since the late 1980s that it is available for public purchase.
The listing offers over 7,500 square feet of space across its four floors.
The layout includes two reception rooms—one “grand,” the other “formal”—various studies and sitting rooms, seven bedrooms, and six bathrooms.
Apart from the main house, there is also an attached three-storey cottage house which has its own kitchen, dining room, reception room, bedroom, bathroom and terrace.
