The market may be as quiet as a mouse, but there was a mouse roar at the Real Estate Board of New York’s 127th annual awards ceremony at the Glasshouse event space on Thursday night.
Against of last year’s festivalwhen the guests grumbled that New Touring Format What felt like a regular cocktail party, the table seating – and the occasionally raucous soundtrack that included rap – took place.
Mayor Eric Adams joined more than 1,000 real estate veterans at the schmooze-fest, which included a two-course dinner by Gramercy Tavern chefs Michael Anthony and Daniel Boulud.

The glasshouse’s windows and ceiling offer views of the Empire State Building and One World Trade Center’s tower-top lighting in REBNY red. The evening’s honorees included Barry Gossin, CEO of Newmark, Mary Ann Tighe, CEO of CBRE Tristate, and John C. Santora, Chairman of Cushman & Wakefield Tristate.
A portion of the proceeds will go to the REBNY Foundation, which supports and funds social impact initiatives in New York City.
