Louis CK has hit the sale of his historic Soho townhouse.
Controversial Grammy-Award Winner comedian, who admitted to sexual misconduct in 2017 and recently sold Madison Square Garden, Bought a five bedroom property in 2012 for $6.5 million.
But, according to property records filed this month, the comedian — otherwise known as Louis Shackley — sold the sprawling 35 Charlton St. for $5.8 million.
Housing recently asked for $6.5 million—the purchase price of Louis CK. It listed last September for $8.49 million before reducing the asking price to $7.5 million a month later. In December the price dropped to $6.5 million, According to StreetEasy,









This sale comes almost six months after Louis CK 8th floor unit purchased At One Fifth Avenue. For $3.85 million, as also reported by Gimme Shelter.
In SoHo, this 19th-century townhouse comes with 13 rooms—and is currently configured as five bedrooms with three full bathrooms and a powder room.
The three-story residence also has a second-floor terrace and a yard. According to the listing from Compass brokers Carl Gambino and Justin Monteiro, it’s part of a long line of Federal and early Greek Revival homes developed by John Jacob Astor.
Kiran Mumidishetty and Morgan McCarthy of Compass also backed the buyer, who is listed as an anonymous LLC on the deed.
