The ship’s floating city has hit the market for anyone with nine figures to spare.
In what industry publication is said to be listing one of the biggest and most expensive yachts of recent years, a superyacht by the name of Ahpo has debuted for an eye-watering $355 million.
The ship measures more than 377 feet long (significantly taller than the 305-foot-tall Statue of Liberty), and can accommodate 16 guests in its eight “spacious staterooms,” not to mention an additional four staff cabins (” or security, a nanny, or other support staff,” ship bio specifies). “Her professional crew of 36 attends to her guest’s every need,” includes the full-time team involved.
Onboard, there’s a spa with a Himalayan salt sauna and a Turkish-style hammam steam room – opposite which is a beach club with a sit-up bar and a waterside lounge. There’s also a 12-seat theater, a landscaped garden for all-weather lounging, and an onboard garage with eight small tender boats. Oh, and there’s also a commercially certified helipad.
“We have thousands of materials, different woods… paint, alloys, cable trays – so many cable trays – and in the interior too, so many different types of stone, wood, carpet, mother-of-pearl and wallpaper, it Incredible, and I think cannot be counted,” explained Tanja Peeters, project manager for the ship’s builder Lurssen Boat International,
The trade site notes that the ship’s sky lounge has exceptionally wide decks – ideal for breathing fresh air at sea – and a duplex primary suite featuring its own gym. There is also a water lily-themed dining room and state-of-the-art interior systems allowing such luxuries as a heated swimming pool floating in the blue of the ocean.
