This is definitely not a “sad” frog!
A viral video A video showing a man’s step-by-step process of building a 3D house for a frog has garnered over 24 million views on TikTok.
Yes, a frog.
What started as a simple project by a man named Dazza—when he spotted a frog living in his enclosure—turned into a long process with many modifications. Thousands of people chimed in with ideas for how to make the disgusting creature the perfect home.
Dazza initially created a simple 3D model of a plain tiny house.
But by the end of their project, the 3D home was complete with a courtyard, an infinity pool, and a place for the frogs to rest their froggy arms. It also included an emergency cave in case poachers tried to invade.
“I saw a frog living in our yard, so I made it a home. He hated it,” Daza says at the beginning of the video. “A week later, TikTok was like: ‘She needs easy access – a courtyard full of water…’ So we started on V2, broke down these walls, added a courtyard, increased ribbit amplification, and added comfort Introduced it. Also people named him Frodrik. So we printed it, removed all the garbage and installed V2.”
Dazza thought he was done until several others commented that Frodrick — or Frod for short — needed a pool to splash in and cool off.
“So we made a pool with plants and this infinity-edge waterfall and Frödrik loved it. He also had a friend.
And just when Dazza thought she had built the perfect little home for her slimy little friend, a possum appeared.
“Without knowing Possum’s intentions, we made Froderick an emergency cave. Then Frode had a pool party. All the frogs were there.”

But the possum still appeared. And despite the emergency cave-in, it didn’t look like Frödrik intended to hide. Turns out, the possum had always been his furry friend — and had come over for a little sip of water. Dazza ends up naming the potential King Julian.
It didn’t end here.
Many commented that Frödrik needed a source of food as well. So Daza decided to create bug lights to attract insects.
“After a lot of designs, we ended up with this spaceship, and added this pond.”

Fredrik and his friends were living it up. And soon tadpoles were born. Dazza then added a tadpole ramp, and pretty soon lots of baby frogs filled the house. So Dazza did what anyone would do — made more frog houses!
But sorry, King Julien – there won’t be a house built for you or your family.
