CommonSpirit Health, AdventHealth end Centura joint venture

CommonSpirit Health and AdventHealth will spin off their long-term Centura Health joint venture, with CommonSpirit taking control of the majority of the 20 hospitals.

Based in Alamante Springs, Florida, AdventHealth will operate and manage five hospitals in Colorado – Avista Adventist Hospital, Castle Rock Adventist Hospital, Littleton Adventist Hospital, Parker Adventist Hospital and Porter Adventist Hospital. CommonSpirit will operate and manage another 15 hospitals in Colorado and western Kansas.

arrival health opened its Amita Health joint venture with St. Louis-based Ascension following in 2021. Amita, a 19-hospital system based in the western Chicago suburbs, was formed in 2015.
