Christian McCaffrey is saying goodbye to the North Carolina penthouse he lived in during his time with the Panthers.
McCaffrey, 26, was drafted by the team as a rookie in 2017, first renting an apartment until he bought this Charlotte unit in 2019 for $2 million, according to wall street journal,
Listed for $3.75 million, the star running back is hoping to set a record for the three-bedroom, four-bath unit, located in the luxe SKYE condominium building.
If it sells for anywhere near that amount, it will be the most expensive condo Charlotte has ever sold per square foot.
“For me, this penthouse was more than a home. It has allowed me to feel a part of the city that I love every time I look out the window,” McCaffrey told the Post in a statement. “You can’t find anywhere better for a condo in Charlotte. Cannot find layout.”

“This is a home with a lot of character, and I am very excited to hand over such a wonderful home to the next owner,” McCaffrey said.
The unit occupies 3,800 square feet of indoor space with a terrace and a 200-square-foot courtyard.
Features include a great room with 25-foot-high ceilings and double-height windows with two exposures. There is also a chef’s kitchen with stainless steel appliances, a cooking island, and a separate large dining island.

According to the statement, the main floor hallway features a barrel ceiling and a custom mural by Tampa-based artist Michael Wahl, depicting real-life and fictional characters who have inspired McCaffrey throughout his life.
A glass and steel architectural staircase leads to the second floor.
Each bedroom includes an en suite bath.

The master bedroom has an oversize shower and freestanding soaking tub with rainfall head.
The building’s amenities include a rooftop pool, a fitness center, 24-hour concierge, a theater room, a game room, a club room, and a rooftop fine-dining restaurant from chef Rocco Whalen.
Victoria Spear of Ivester Jackson Christie’s International Real Estate holds the listing.
“The right buyer for this penthouse is someone who wants a kind of luxury, privacy
and proximity to all the city has to offer,” Spear said.

In October, the Panthers traded McCaffrey In exchange for 2023 second, third and fourth round picks and a 2024 fifth round pick to the San Francisco 49ers.
Meanwhile, the Panthers acquired last week No. 1 overall pick in the upcoming NFL Draft of the Chicago Bears.
“The next star player on the team could be the next owner of this residence,” said Speer.
McCaffrey has been dating models and influencers Olivia Culpo for the past three years.
