Blue Origin Passenger Lane Base lists $3.1M California home

The Watsonville, California home of Lane Bess, who will fly on Jeff Bezos’ Blue Origin space flight with her son in 2021, is now up for sale.

Listed for $3.1 million, Bess purchased the residence in 2005 for $1.75 million, records show.

The venture capitalist known for his work in technology has served as the principal and founder of Family Fund Base Ventures & Advisory, LLC since 2015.

Their mission on Blue Origin is noted as the first parent-child pair to fly in space together.

Composed of three bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms, their old home is situated on 5.3 acres and is spread over 3,200 square feet.

Nestled in the gated equestrian community of Senda Ladera amid the meadows of Larkin Valley, the home features custom lighting.

Other perks include a chef’s kitchen, spa-inspired bath and bedroom with walk-in closet, plus a bonus room for a home office or crafting.
