The real-life Raj is all set to buy Koothrappali’s Manhattan apartment.
Kunal Nayyar — the 42-year-old English actor best known for playing the bromantic astrophysicist on CBS’s “The Big Bang Theory” — and his wife, model Neha Kapoor, are selling their relatively modest NoMad apartment.
The Fifth Avenue penthouse is listed with Sotheby’s International Realty for $2.8 million.
“The owners bought the apartment when Kunal came here to act in a play,” says agent J.J. Eric Baker, who has the listing along with fellow Sotheby’s agent Alison Glestein, told The Post of the property.
Meanwhile his hit television show ran from 2007 to 2019.
Baker said the one-bedroom duplex has two bathrooms and a 418-square-foot landscaped terrace, creating “an urban oasis” in the midst of the city’s frenetic hustle and bustle.
Located on the top floor of the 117-year-old, 13-story Grand Madison — once the Brunswick Hotel — the unit is thoroughly modern, but the historic building’s facade still oozes Renaissance Revival-style charm.
The lower level has a modest foyer and the first of two bathrooms, a “bonus room,” which the floorplan suggests could serve as a den or guest bedroom, and a spacious living room—one of which has a kitchen in the corner. Has Viking Appliances and Bosch Dishwasher.

Upstairs is the bedroom, with an en suite marble bath and two closets, and direct access to the spacious roof deck.
There is also an in-unit washer/dryer and central air.
In terms of building amenities, there is a fitness room, 24-hour concierge, an in-house dry cleaner and tailor, housekeeping, and a full-time superintendent.
Nayyar, who describes himself as a real nerd while off-air, and hails from New Delhi, India, has also voiced various animated characters on Nickelodeon sitcoms and including the “Ice Age” and “Trolls” franchises.
His wife Neha, 39, was also born in New Delhi and a beauty queen Who has represented India in the Miss Universe pageant.
